Uberstrike 4.3.3 update is live!



4.3.3 Release Notes

Features :
-New Map “Lost Paradise Classic”
-Completely new HUD
-Home, Shop and Profile (was Stats) pages have new scenes
-Shop “Try Weapons” mode has a new shooting range with dynamic targets
-Huge audio overhaul for weapons, levels and in-game feedback
-New default character
-Tutorial mode for new players (only available when creating a new account)
-Maps are now streamed in the browser. Improves loading time.
-New Kill-streaks - Double / triple / quad kill etc
-New preloader
-New Account History panel in the Profile page (view your purchase history)
-New Portal website (updated layout and graphics)
-New UberStrike logo!


Improvements :
-Improved Account Creation process
-Improved emails for account creation
-Clan page UI upgraded
-Inbox page UI upgraded
-Communicator is now it’s own page - “Chat”
-New in-game Nutshot, headshots and smackdown features
-Upgraded models and textures for default weapons
-Upgraded water. Soft edges & dynamic displacement (High quality requires SM3.0)
-Upgraded skyboxes for all levels
-Improved lighting in CuberStrike and Sky Garden
-Improved Anti-Cheat
-Upgraded client-server web service communication serialization and protocol
-Unified accounts on Facebook, Portal and Mac App Store client.


Fixes :
-Fixed collider issues in Gideons Tower
-Fixed issue where two maps would be loaded together
-Various collider updates for Monkey Island and Lost Paradise 2
-Corrected incorrect flags being displayed in Server Selection on Play Page
-Multiple powerup pickup bug
-Fort Winter colliders at the bottom of the towers


Changes :
-Removed Item Preview in Shop
-Level locks on default games have been changed
-Changed Background music for Home Screen

-OSX Chrome WebPlayer unstable (Please use Safari)
- Known Issues / Reported Issues

Item Updates :
-Executioner and Judge have been remodeled
-Retextured all default weapons
-Retired gear: Urbane Camo shirt, Urbane Camo Pants, Jungle Camo Shirt, Jungle Camo Pants, Superstar Jacket, ---Superstar Pants, Superstar Shades, Superstar Gloves


Note : To all our players who owned retired gear items permanently, we have replaced them with Ninja gear and given you a refund of 5000 credits.

Mac App Store build will be coming soon - the App has to be approved by Apple which can take a few days. As soon as it's live we'll post up to let you guys know!

I can't play 4.3.3 on mac. theres is no mac app store download i believe....

It is indubitable that the magnitude of these game-changing endeavours shall elude me indefinitely as I examine them in-game.

Nevertheless, the quality of this latest instalment in the proceedings of Uberstrike development appear to be of a high standard. I have yet to opine vis-a-vis the luminously accentuated presentation of the main menu, but my emotions in this neck of the woods thus far are mixed.

I shall somewhat bemusedly commence my investigation.

I have one question though.

On the options where we can configure the keyboard and other stuff I really do want to know what recommendation it isfor the mose and its sensitivy.
I have tried the all differetn variations of it. 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and so on up to 10.
Whatever I try to use its a very big change from thelast version and I want to know what u reccomend to have. The lower the more nsail feeling i get and the higher the more drunen i feel to use that.

i dont think so. i suggest back the skygarden to old model, too dark for new skygarden. Can't see the enemy especially when wearing dark armor. it is highly recommended. :?
