When did the OP say they can't scroll switch? Or are you just making assumptions?

Quick switching is a bug that is yet to be patched. Basic users took a liking to it because it sort of levels out basic weapons with certain OP weapons (not all of them, some are much more OP than basics). If the game was to get proper balance (OP items are nerfed, UP items are buffed) then quickswitching should be fixed but not at any other time.

What makes basic and other fast weapons good?
- Fast quickswitching
- Can fire fairly fast on their own

What makes OP weapons good?
- Usually has better stats except RoF
- Has certain other upgrades eg. Tfw nades can be triggered, vanq scope is more powerful

Honestly, although it can be fun at times, I feel that quickswitching holds back Uberstrike from being a great game. People used to use machineguns, splatterguns and handguns, now its just sniper cannon shotgun with the occassional grenade launcher pickup. People's weapons used to vary, what's the point of having over 100 weapons if half of them are never used? All of my friends left Uberstrike for three reasons:
- Strafing
- Quickswitching
- How everyone has OP items except them

I like this game but I can't think of a game that is less newcomer-friendly. I hope quickswitching is patched soon.

You realize google doesnt produce pictures other than their own. They pull all the results from other pages such as photobucket, deviant art and more picture hosting websites so it's very easy to steal someone's art. So no need for the comment.

Anyways, thanks a lot! I actually was looking for a thread where I could write super long posts in, and this really fit it.

Overall, I think everyone did great, and I truly hope these debate topics get more common and are continued. They are quite nice and really display the side of you that isn't usually shown in FPS games.

Oh, and I watched Stalin today. It was pretty good, but I'd rather watch a 3 hour documentary on Krypton than more Superman movies.

Ok, I'll start. I want to be happy married with my awesome wife. After my successfull swiming carrier, which has started in 2020, I continued to live with new job - neurobiologist. I want to have 2 children, 4 years difference between them.
